for our English-speaking friends
In order to provide you with general information on our Web site, we created this English page. Hi everyone and welcome to our Web site L'Association des motocyclistes gais du Québec (AMGQ). Our association counts close to 100 gay motorcycle guys across Québec. Founded in 1989, it will be celebrating its 21st anniversary! Many activities have been planned for the 2010 season, such as the Salon de la moto de Montréal which was held in February 2010. Our season opening will be some time in April, followed by many others. If you want to know more about our activities, please refer to our calendar calendrier d'activités 2010. Since its founding in 1989, AMGQ has evolved to meet our members' needs. It's in part why we are offering you, today, this English section. Since members come from across Canada and the United States, we decided that it was time to offer you general information in English. Many of our members are bilingual and will be pleased to communicate with you in English. The association is involved in two fields: the motorcycle world, by being a member of the Fédération motocycliste du Québec (FMQ) and the Alliance motocycliste métropolitaine (AMM) and is also present in the gay community as a stakeholder at the Conseil québécois des gais et lesbiennes (CQGL). We also support Gai-Écoute which is a gay reference and telephone support group for the community of Québec. We are very proud of our accomplishments and will continue to evolve just as our members want. AMGQ is an open-minded group, where you can share your experiences and make friends. We also share the same passion: RIDING A MOTORCYCLE. All age groups and various social statuses are represented and welcome. This helps us build strong ties between our members. AMGQ is proud to be able to respond to such needs. I hope we will have the pleasure of riding together. Luc Quintal President,
AMGQ P.S. AMGQ is happy to establish ties with international associations. Dernière
